The Basement: A Live Escape Room Experience has always held safety as a top priority. That core value persists as we continue to navigate the ever changing eb and flow of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are so glad to be currently open and frightening guests at all three of our locations with social distancing measures in place.
All of our experiences are currently open, offering you top of the line, highly immersive themed entertainment. Filled with brain-bending puzzles and spine tingling scares, we can’t wait to eat-I MEAN MEET you!
At this time, face masks are NOT required to be worn in the building.
All games are private! You will never be locked in a room with a group of strangers. All bookings, no matter the size, secure the entire room for just your team. This limits direct contact with those outside of your circle.
The Maximum number of participants per experience has been reduced. Group sizes are limited to 8 guests or less. This allows for greater social distancing within our experiences.
Social Distancing is required for all staff. Our rooms still contain live actors, but they will be socially distanced at all times throughout your experience. Physical contact with the actors is prohibited.
Hand sanitizer has always been, and will continue to be, available throughout the building for both customers and employees. We ask that all guests use hand sanitizer or wash their hands before and after their experiences.
All of our rooms are thoroughly sanitized with medical-grade sanitizers, often used to efficiently disinfect hospital rooms.
Visiting one of our escape rooms puts you in contact with fewer people than your average restaurant, shopping mall, or movie theater. During your time with us, you will likely interact with a front desk staff member, a host, and an actor, all of which will be masked at all times. The only folks you will come into close contact with are those in your own party, so we ask that you please assemble a team of people you trust to be safe.
Social distancing and handwashing are the pillars of keeping ourselves healthy and safe while engaging in social activities. We care about our guests, our staff, and our communities. The Basement would like to remind our readers that a vaccination is the best protection against Covid-19.
Stay safe, have fun, best of luck solving our puzzles. We are so excited to have you back in our hallowed halls!
