In some of our experiences, you will also meet and interact with characters from the story who attempt to help you escape.

Players will search the room, traverse hidden passageways, solve puzzles, discover clues, and use teamwork, communication, and logic to progress through the story.
At The Basement, our escape rooms are designed to feel less like traditional escape rooms and more like stepping into a real horror film.
No. The Basement is not a traditional haunted house or walk-through maze. In a haunted house, guests usually move through a path while scares happen around them. At The Basement, your group is an active part of the experience.
You will need to explore the environment, interact with the room, solve puzzles, and make decisions as the story unfolds around you.
It depends on who you are and your level of sensitivity to horror and the macabre. The Basement is designed to be intense, suspenseful, and at times frightening. Our experiences include horror themes, dark environments, unsettling storylines, realistic sets, and, in some rooms, live performers.
That said, our focus is not on cheap jump scares and gore. We create immersive, story-driven horror experiences built around atmosphere, tension, teamwork, and puzzle-solving.
