The Basement is a live Escape Room experience. We specialize in unique and thrilling, heavily themed adventures and escape games where you solve puzzles to escape a private experience with your friends. Our brave guests are locked inside of a story with the goal of discovering clues and unraveling secrets to solve their way to safety.
An escape room is an immersive, interactive, and unique experience where guests are locked their own private room filled with puzzles, clues, and hidden items, with one goal in mind: ESCAPE! Or in our case, SURVIVE something like a saw escape room! You and a small group of people will start in a room themed to your experience. We currently have 4 different private rooms to choose from, so much fun that you can spend several hours playing!
No, the guests (or victims) are an active part of the immersive experience; we ask more of you than to merely walk through a spooky maze. To complete your objectives before the clock ticks down to zero, you will need to engage with the room and its immersive environment through physical challenges and other unique elements.
Our rooms in las vegas last about 45 minutes while some teams may need more time (up to 60 minutes or one hour) to complete the entire game and escape. If you get stuck, our game master will provide help for solving puzzles and completing escape games. Once you complete a room, we have 3 other escape rooms to also play!

The cancellation policy for the basement is strict, but fair. We require a 24-hour notice to cancel your event with us without charge.
Yes and No. Our focus is to create an immersive and fun, puzzle-driven experience for our escape room las vegas guests. That being said, the stories we tell through our games contain horror elements and can be considered frightening or upsetting. We don’t rely on cheap jump-scares or gorey shock-factors. We instead create a creeping sense of unease, that anything may happen when you walk into the dark. We have multiple rooms to choose from too so once you complete a room, you can try a different scary experience!
If at any time during your experience the scary rooms are too much and you no longer wish to participate, you are welcome to leave your game. We pride ourselves on our empathetic and kind staff who are prepared to assist with any spooked guests. Please note that no refunds or reschedules will be available to guests who tap out of their experience.
You may not ask for clues. Our resident serial killer, Edward Tandy will provide help at his discretion. It depends on how much he wants to...play with his food.
Yes, you are locked in a physical room from the moment your game begins. For the comfort and safety of our guests, there are “Panic Buttons” located near the entry door to each room. If pressed, these buttons will automatically unlock the doors so that you may exit the room safely.
